Shalom Health Care Center
The Shalom Health Care Center is having their 3rd annual "health fair, back to school and keep children safe extravaganza" on Thursday August 6th from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Free backpacks filled with school supplies will be given out to all school aged children who attend (while supplies last). Rhonda L. Bayless is the Executive Director/Founder of the Center of Wellness for Urban Women (CWUW) in Indianapolis and an HIV/AIDS advocate. Through addressing the intersection of race, class, and gender and other social determinants of health, Ms. Bayless works to empower women and their families to live healthier lives.
