Although many people consume meat as their source of protein, plants can be an even better alternative. According to Mayo Clinic, they state that "the fats in meat, poultry, eggs and high-fat dairy products such as cheese are considered solid fats, while the fats in seafood, nuts and seeds are considered oils" (mayoclinic.org, 2016). Therefore, consuming more oily fats can be more beneficial and healthier than the solid fats.
